I think for housing it’s easier to put like 6 or 8 in the same area but not all 10, spread the others out. Less overwhelming that way + you can create separate neighborhoods

You can’t mark it lol you gotta do basic math, one square on the map is 16x16 , a villagers house is 4x3 and if you want fences or space in between each you’ll have to have 8x7 space on each plot

I’ve noticed that while houses take up a 4x3 area, it’s a weird kinda 4x3 where you can place ground pathing on the front layer with the door. Not objects, just pathing. Not sure if that’ll help anybody but I thought it was a weird fact that might somehow be helpful
