I was going for a cemetery once. I made a custom path that matched the grass patterns but with a darker, almost dead grass sort of look. Spent a long time on that and it was perfect. Made my surrounding cliffs, laid out my paths, and set up my grave markers and then went for the absolutely perfect finishing touch that I knew would bring the whole thing together - planting the weeds! ...that was when I found out you can't plant on top of custom pathing...
