@near saddle it creates two narrow sides left and right that can be tricky to make use of. Also cramps the center. I got rid of one of my rivers with a waterfall, and was able to get the rest of the space out to the east beach

@round storm now it's 1x1 you cannot place anything there. make it 2x1 so you can climb up there and place items. line up bamboo partition so that it surrounds your house. use the ladder to climb back down. knock away the 2x1 into 1x1 again

not sure if it will work because i'm not sure of the partition's dimensions, but that's the general idea
