@uneven eagle yeah like in general pinterest isn't the greatest programmed thing lol. But you can usually do it by clicking the button on the toolbar, even though the "pin it" button doesn't appear on images. I have to maintain my workplace's pinterest, I understand the struggle.

@zinc tiger scroll down here ( https://gamewith.net/animal-crossing-new-horizons/article/show/16267 ) you'll see a bunch of maps you can get. look at where your river starts and ends, you can't change this with terraforming. you can't change your beach layout, like where the rocks are and stuff. you can't move resident services either - i usually like mine to be close to the entrance. personally i care more about what fruit i have and stuff

@pine ember I see. Fences may help so that you can actually section each area off. You would leave say a 2 space gap that would act as a gate. So you would have your garden and then walk through a fenced gate area into the next area.
