They don't work from within the Nook's Cranny- They have their own seperate shop. As soon as Mabel starts appearing in the plaza you'll know you're on the right track. I think after the shop's first built, Mabel will appear inside talking to the nooklings. She should start appearing after that

@lapis stratus Thank you~ I managed to find a few things I liked, although only in ends and single spots, not the single wide middles that feel more curvy... I've been using paths based off of denim2_mori, I just didn't know\remember the name.
I kinda wish I was better with making patterns, I would just make my own, but I suck at it.

@olive lynx there’s a guide for how to make denim2_mori’s path in the pins . Also some people who have made a variation of “The Path” post their grids in their Twitter. Hopefully you could use those to make your own design ^^
