I haven’t played in years though so idk if it has changed, but back then it was very catered to spending real money to get cute stuffs to somewhat decorate but decorating was also quite limited. And if you didn’t spend real money you would just have to wait long long times to make progress. But it was actually my first introduction to Animal Crossing hahaha so I still loved it back then, but the other way around might disappoint you

I have baked a variety of goods; for the cookies, I have made shortbread chocolate chip, butter, snickerdoodle, and sugar and strawberry cupcakes on the right. Pocket camp is different now! It's a one time purchase and all the microtransactions are gone :D it's real easy to get leaf tickets too since you get ~50 for just levelling up and events hand them out like candy hahaha

It's definitely underwhelming compared to acnh (especially since I personally usually hate games that make you wait irl time to progress) but it's fun to play alongside acnh :)

(+ also buying the faster crafting thing helped a lot haha now it's just waiting for Gulliver/flower growth)

There is no difference in release dates on the switch. Preorders just allow you to get it while you have the money for it so you don't have to scramble when it's available.

Sometimes preorders also give you additional items in games, but not always. That's pretty much the only difference
