Splatoon 1 is probably the most different - Splatoon 2 is very similar to 3

it being the first, whilst yes it does feel like a "demo" if someone was to look it and compare it to the other 2 games, has a lot of unique charm to it, and a lot of unique things too, such as some of the specials and weapons, and obviously the minigames you can play whilst in the lobby

1. Koopathalon (20 player), is a sequel to Coinathalon from Star Rush, amazing and so happy its back with online now and 20 players
2. Hexes/traps are back from Mario Party DS/Hudson era, I saw that in the trailer (very hard to see but I did a side by side) and this made me freak out
3. Boss battles are back from 9/10, albeit in seemingly a different mode, thankfully not in party mode
4. Singular joycon is not required unlike Super Mario Party, the website confirms they are a separate thing for offline only, and the vast majority of the 110 minigames use standard button controls, so I'm gonna guess 10/20 use the singular joycons.
5. 5 new boards, 2 remade boards, all look super good, so happy to have a Mario Party with a ton of replayability and more impportantly, the quality is there.
6. Unlockable characters is a likely possability given Ninji is shown playable and isn't in the character photo, and considering that makes 21 playable characters, I would imagine we'll get at least 2-3 more because for 20 online it would be kinda good to give the last player some choices
7. Boards appear to be unlockable too, Bowser's Keep, Western Land and Mario's Rainbow Castle are seen under construction in the hub world
8. Online is confirmed to be like in Superstars for the boards too

Gifted means that the villager has been given furniture/clothing items that are not their default items, so they’ll place random furniture in their house or wear clothes that they normally wouldn’t. People usually prefer ungifted when trading villagers since they are essentially “new” that way since they still have their default furniture/clothes only. It doesn’t mean that they’re free, though you can find free gifted villagers sometimes in #701251557458444395 !

I technically had a past experience but it wasn't pretty

For two reasons

One, classmates and people tried to force me to like it

One even lumped a 1000 page book of all the lore and pokemon and expected me to magically like it afterwards, and got annoyed when I couldn't finish the book

And a few others tried to get me to play one of the GBA games and were watching over my neck and info dumping me with strats

Almost felt like I wasn't actually playing it

The 2nd reason it was difficult to get into pokemon as a child was because

Back when I was younger, and idk if this was a thing outside of the UK but

There were many interviews and stuff making the claims pokemon was evil and children should avoid it at all costs

But it wasnt solely pokemon here it was lots of other games

And many of it was saying digimon and pokemon were the same thing

I used to play a game similar to pokemon and I feel like people dont realize its not a unique concept
