Pikmin is basically a strategic game, where you are in charge of ordering Pikmin to do tasks, like defeat enemies, pick up stuff and bring it back to your ship

The circle pad feels better yes, but it doesn't directly solve the problem, the movement is still limited because the game was designed for the n64 (I mean the game is literally mario 64 n64 lol), where it was designed for a full 360 circle paid input, and the DS limits it to 4 inputs)

Modern Mario Party is literally by mostly the same people who made the originals

They just moved to ND Cube after Hudson shut down

And the reason things changed is because the team felt creatively burned out after 8 titles of the exact same formula

They were facing series fatigue

Super Mario Party walked so Mario Party Superstars could run
