aight, so I'm working on a character design that totally isn't basically Android 17/Hero/Toriyama character with a mask and a visor.

I'm having trouble deciding whether to draw him with 1 or 2 bangs. IMO: on the one hand 2 could be better cause it looks more "complete," but on the other hand 1 looks like the drawing isn't as "tampered" with.

Currently looking for people to react to which design they think looks better, as well as any advice/opinions.

@flat cypress I recommend for practice only to trace images such as anatomy and even anime scenes cause it looks like you're going for an anime style, you can always find a random person doing a pose for reference, and trace over it the shapes you see, itll help alot trust me

practicing even 10 minutes everyday you'll start to see huge improvement

but remember tracing should only be used for practice

Always start with free things and any PC. If you find that you don't really like drawing on what u have, find what you want to change then find a program that has exactly wat u wnt (also free or vey cheap). If all this is too much, then never look into buying programs. You should only buy when ur certain that u know what you want cuz then ur wasting money. Everything should be free when u first start drawing so u know what features u want.

TL;DR dont buy anything until u know exactly what features u want

Start with a PC or regular tablet then work ur way up to more expensive things
