not per se. you can get new furniture items with it. but not an easier way to get the normal ones. You just get offered to use themed items you dont have if you design a house but wont have it on your normal island

I think a few items are also purchaseable that are in the normal game though

alright no i just read it up you mostly get normal furniture and onyl a few things are exclusive but not furniture per se more like pillars partition walls etc. so yes you get furniture faster with it

HHP is for decorating and it also unlocks a lot of features for decorating on your own, and a giant furniture catalog that you can order stuff from eventually, so if you want partition walls and accent walls and just the ability to redecorate your villagers homes, plus a bunch of new materials like glowing moss/vines and diy recipes to go with them I'd say it's worth it but if you don't really enjoy decorating you might not want the abilities HHP unlocks too much
