As an ASD haver… I never feel like I fit in anywhere because my definition of comfort with being around people and fitting in is a bit unrealistic??? I don’t have too many comfort people. Plus I worry that my troubles I vent about are child’s play so I’ve been told by absolute strangers and pain in the asses type ppl rather a middle school students level of ignorance and troubles compared to ones adult life and the issues that come with it.

Even the fact I get flashbacks from my parents and others of being infantilized. Equated to an infant by them and absolute strangers even cause they saw how my divorced mom treats me. So if I vent about my troubles I have a fear that I’m a pathetic child despite being a young adult.

im cranky because i cant get an incline to match up with the museum entrance

Is the ledge uneven? Or is something on the way?

my problem is that the museum is 7 blocks the entrance is 3 and the ledge is two, so it not centering with the entrance but i swore ive done it before
my husband suggested i put the incline to the side of it and just make a path to the museum

Ooooh I see. Maybe you can make a cliff around where you want to put the ledge and see if it can be centered. Sometimes I swear the game is annoying and doesn’t do what you want. The other day I was trying to put my mailbox back in the spot it was next to my house and it kept saying there was no space
A path leading to the museum wouldn’t be bad tho. That’s how I have mine it’s across a bride and I decorated around the path made a little cafe next to the museum.

I was hoping when they first announced the slumber island for the 3.0 update that it was going to be something similar, like meeting people through dreams or whatever but nope. 😏

They needed to release during the pandemic they knew that timeframe was a gold mine for them. In a way good for us because it popularized AC but yeah the game was rushed. Just sucks that they treat it as if only little kids are playing it :/

I don't think that's fully what happened, I just think ACNH simply suffered from being rushed and a lot of the stuff is being held back for the big new Switch 2 exclusive game - I especially think that cus Nintendo's fianancial reports confirm they're moving away from Switch 1 games now (the announcements we got are the last, like 3.0) to focus on Switch 2 exclusively, I am willing to hold it to my heart a lot of what was cut from NH for time is being added to the next game, which makes sense to a business too cus you wanna convince people the Switch 2 AC is different and bigger than New Horizons to get casuals to buy a Switch 2

It’s that. Nintendo’s had too many unfortunate predicaments with minors and the public to where, unless there’s some super strict controls, I don’t believe it’ll come back.

They need to open their eyes and realize that minors are at risk everywhere (unfortunately, but that’s another conversation…) so them spoiling the fun for adults who makes a majority of players is literally unfair. I said it before but enabling a parental control on the Switch or in-games would fix all these issues

Although watching Sakurari realize that for Kirby Air Riders customisation I got the vibe he was like "Those people find aggressive loopholes no matter how much you parent your game, and the customers are the ones to suffer, so here ya go, go crazy" -

ex Nintendo people were like "Wow lol, Sakurari really just taking the risk there, love that" 🤣

That's why I love that Sakurai figured that out, dude knows no matter what you do, people will ruin the fun, and the honest customers are always the one to suffer, literally no-one wins, so he concluded there is no point restricting people's fun

and that's why I love Kirby Air Riders customisation with the vehicles

because you can just go crazy

speaking of New Leaf's tortimer islands though, I did have an unfortunate experience on there with some weirdo who wouldn't let me leave (This was before they added the "go home button")

I had to power my 3DS off in the end

Yeah - I've noticed as of late Nintendo has been a lot more open to giving players online freedom as the Switch era has gone on, especially with the Switch 2 games now

Honestly that is fairrr, the technical stuff is a lot to even explain but paying for a sub was inevitable, the only reason Steam can get away with it is due to third party backing and the capablity to maintain it themselves (plus it's their whole thing)

I'd say in recent years NSO is more worth it than at launch

Recently I left a lot of servers I was in. Or lost interest in some fandoms I was in. I left servers because I didn't like some of the people nor agreed with their takes. There was some toxic people in them. Some things I was always obsessed about I lost interest in and don't bring me joy at all. Thankfully this server is consistently a great place to be full of a lot of sweet people
