The only part I regret about restarting is having to complete the museum again. If you're okay with that grind, I say go for it.

It doesn’t take a lot of time if you have servers like this to build a catalog etc, but keep in mind the animal crossing market is not like it used to be during lockdown

If you have a lot of stuff then I’d say don’t, but there’s also player services where players will hold your items for you

Be warned though if you’re the type to flatten out your island then you have to do that all over again + get the shops upgraded

Try time travelling a month ahead! If it isn't on the villager you want, ignore them, then go talk to the villager you want to kick out ONCE while you spoil/gift other villagers (it rly helps!). Then just keep time travelling one day ahead until the villager you want to move out has a thought bubble!

Were you connecting to someone else's island? It also could be a combination of your NAT type to theirs. Where your hotspot seems to be right
