Because the only college that accepted me is specialized in the teaching of non-western languages there are plenty of others but those are my main interest, at first I wanted to go for Korean but the people in that class are quite.. Special and I know I won't want to live in Korea so I figured Finnish or Lithuanian might be better

I have mixed feelings. I think that learning more esoteric languages like Finnish and Lithuanian is a double edge sword because it IS a niche you could leverage, but also you're probably much more limited generally in terms of what career specialties would specifically benefit from that as opposed to Korean, or Japanese / Chinese if those are options.
Main reason being that China and Korea specifically are both major hubs for industries and are also much more culturally prolific, so it not only seems more likely that you would find practical use for them as a career, but also come across them every day anyways. If you are working anywhere in semiconductor manufacturing, for instance, you're almost certain to interface at some point with South Korea and Taiwan.

That's not to say that learning any language isn't worthwhile. It is, especially to show genuine interest in another culture and to work the learning muscles. But if you're specializing in it for practical purposes, which is, the intent to make money, I would tread carefully. Also note I'm speaking as an American and so these languages may be much more significant if you, say, live next to them and interface with people from there regularly. I would guess that this restricts you to regions where they are large in number

Well I personally live in France and I don't really have money as a goal I just want a job that concerns translation and international exchange or perhaps teaching I really want a chill life in a cold country with little to no sunlight
