Like I’d work on the museum for a bit, then once I’m done or get bored I work on a different area of my island

And eventually you’ll get to three stars

Laymans term:

Switch 1 to Switch 1: Island Transfer app or Contact Nintendo

Switch 1 to Switch 2: Literally just system transfer

And if you're planning to sell your Switch 1 (me not, two islands bro), you can upload everything, even your ACNH save to a special Nintendo cloud and get it back on your Switch 2

Definitely worth it. I've stopped hoarding the older parts, but some of the HDDs and SSDs are still very much worth it. Haven't found a dedicated GPU yet! But yeah, look and you'll be surprised what you can find.

Can even make micro builds. Thinking of that now. I can get a Raspberry Pi and just get USB converters to HDDs and other things. Not sure what potentials are there, but it's fun to tinker!

I bought the switch 2 a few hours ago, and they have made the transfer super easy. All I had to do was plug them both into power, and in the settings on your old switch there’s an option to transfer all data to the new switch wirelessly, like when getting a new iPhone, took like 5 mins. I’m currently playing acnh on my switch 2, and it’s work perfectly and transferred over fine!

my friend suggested updating the controllers to see if that was the issue but its still persistent

You have to go in settings to system and scroll all the way down

Then refresh on the new switch by trying to go to the next step, which will pull up instructions. (Which also attempts to refresh the search)

Read through instructions super carefully, I was doing the transfer wrong so make sure to read it careful. I was also doing it on my bed which may have been interfering with comms and when I put it on a hard surface it worked
