I’m just wondering with you all if you ever carried on the New Leaf Traditions too New Horizons!

I remember one of the big things for online play was town rules (Number 1 Rule was always ‘No Stealing or Running on the flowers’).

There was also the feedback notice for all visitors to leave feedback on the board just as I have kept on my new horizons island!

Who remembers the nightclub with DJ K.K. by the night and the Jester (Axlotel) During the day to learn new emotes by bringing him food, was the arguement ever settled on the name of this club? Was it ‘Club LOL’ or ‘Club 101’.

Who remembers the post office where we had to pay off our loans and send post to our friends / recieve gifts online!

Do any of you use the posting feature in new horizons anymore?

I do remember having to pay off the loans inside the Post Office, but New Horizons has its own method, which I think is nice for a new game.

I think the idea is the nostalgia that NL left can be very strong! That I agree with.

I agree new horizons has its own ways of been better but new leaf / new horizons integration seems like the perfect game . Out of the 2 of them it would be a hard one to choose what is best !!!

Hours and hours I spend on new leaf creating the path but the coolest feature was in the summer time when you would spend 30 minutes relaxing in the sun each day , and you would develop a tan ! I do miss the little features like this

Yeah, I think New Leaf really hit home on some of the subtle aspects. New Horizons really tried to revolutionize the game. Can't say it was bad though! Just different! The mini games in NL were fantastic!

Yes there is nothing wrong with new horizons but sure new leaf has more gameplay and objective more so while new horizons is more design based …. I kinda try bring the mini games from new leaf to new horizons on my island . Like labrinth and things , I just give people a list of items to find on my island or a certain colour of gift wrap that they need to find ! It’s fun too but not the same as tortimers island for sure
