There’s a trick to get more out of every rock. You dig a hole behind you while standing in front of the rock and dig another hole besides the first hole. So, when you get pushed back by shoveling the rock it won’t push you back and you’ll get more out. You gotta hit the rock fast tho

Yup, after you’ve made sure there are two holes to keep you from being pushed back

Stand in front of the rock, dig a hole behind you and then another hole besides that hole, then you’re ready to start hitting it fast

Just one hole behind you should be enough, but I’ve found without the second hole you still get pushed back eventually
