You need to experience your first KK concert for Kapp'n.
Brewster requires you to donate at least 1 of every category to the museum.
Most of the Nook Mile redemptions have criterias to unlock, i.e. storage shed, abd both require you to upgrade your house (and storage) to a certain point.

DLC is part of 2.0, and normally, pretty much all new items should be available for everyone

new items aren't locked behind the DLC AFAIK...
the storefront in the DLC sells some of the "rarer" items though.

Why can’t I do the same accent wall across from each other? I wanted some brick on the back and front wall and regular wallpaper on the sides. Basically it only lets me accent 1 wall.
