Those would count as furniture items, so if Isabelle is telling you that you need more furniture then yeah you can potentially do that. Just place whatever she’s asking you to and you should be at 5 stars in no time!

you'll need to wait until resident services is upgraded if if it's not done already, then you'll have to craft a campsite, and wait until the camper is properly moved in. After that you will be able to buy 4 plot at most for a total of 10 villagers.
Be carefull placing the plot they can fill in the next day, and you are limited in the number of adoptions per day

Yes, that's exactly what I mean! There used to be a glitch where it could replace villagers if you traveled backwards, but I'm pretty sure that got fixed. I just prefer making sure they're fully moved in to avoid any possible mishaps cause I like to play it safe

it's an event, Tom Nooks gives you a ticket to go to a special island, be careful you can only go once a year, even with time traveling, if you go there, do not go home until you are done, you won't be able to come back until the following year. if you are stuck there you can use the rescue services from your nook phone

those all sound to me like an issue with your internet itself and not your switch . summer is when ISPs start to have a lot of issues due to both heat and increased usage during the day; i would contact nintendo support to make sure the issue isnt your switch, then your internet service provider

Yeah, I couldn’t find any specific limits related to a single tree, so I seems it is just dependent on how much empty space you have around that tree (8 would be max, similar to fruits or other dropped items around a tree)

She doesn't have a complete list of Plaza Items on Nook Stop, only Plaza bench / Plaza clock / Plaza teacup ride, the rest of the items don't appear on the menu.

I searched for answers from multiple sources, it says these items were added since the automatic patch update 2.0, but she didn't receive the rest.

It might be tricky. Especially since it doesn't need to be you and it could be your friend. If you are trying to connect through the internet and you can be near a computer that has access to your router's settings, you might see a popup asking you to allow or deny the connection. If you don't respond, it won't go through.

Also a thought, if you both recently adjusted your NAT settings, you might need to do system restarts on the computer (most likely not the router, but you could try it anyway) just to refresh the settings.

Gotcha! Also the error code said that if you are using certain internet, like 5G hotspots, it might not work.

error code 2618-0513 isnt exclusive to firewalls and hotspots, its just commonly triggered by them. i would actually say the most common source of error 2618-0513 is an ISP only having carrier-grade NAT, which just isnt up to snuff for acnh multiplayer. if you happen to be using a hotspot, theres not much of a way around it, but if not, you may look into port forwarding, though its not always possible as certain ISPs can be tricky about it

additionally ive noticed its becoming increasingly common for two NAT B-types to not be able to connect to each other properly, as the grading system is honestly bogus. its very likely you may also be having an issue where you have a low-end NAT B and are struggling to connect because of it, whereas your friend has a high B and therefore can travel just fine

Wow, I figured it out. Making an outfit takes away the clothes from your inventory…can’t use them for multiple outfits which is very silly. My clothes were covered up by a raincoat so they all went with the outfit -.-

plot has to be EMPTY in order to successfully invite a new villager to move to your island! Full process of move out is:

Day 1: The (original) villager has a thought bubble over their head & will be pacing back and forth somewhere on your island (usually by the pier or nearby your house). If you start a conversation with them, they will then tell you that they’ve been thinking of moving away from your island, and you can then either encourage them to do so, or tell them no & they will stay instead. If you want this villager gone, then encourage them to move. There will be no immediate moving/packing of boxes, etc. for the remaining hours of the island day

Day 2.
When you first log into the game on this day, Isabelle will make an official announcement about your villagers soon to be departure during her morning announcements. Starting at 5:00 AM island time (the start of each new day in ACNH), the character that is moving away will be “in boxes” the whole entire day. When a moving villager is “in boxes”, they will not leave the interior of their house on your island, and will be surrounded by cardboard boxes and usually be sweeping the floor inside. This day allows you to share with friends/other players that you have an available villager looking for a new place to call home. This allows time for you to invite whoever want them to move to their island, to come and fly to your island, and visit the moving villager in their house to invite them to move with them. If no one invites them within this 24 hour period, then the moving villager will be casted off into the ACNH abyss.

Day 3.
Starting at 5:00 am on this day, the old villager will have officially moved away from your island and vacated the plot of land where their house once stood. In its place will be a fenced off pile of lumber, and a sign on it that says the plot of land is available.
THIS is the day you can invite a new villager to move to your island and into this space. This can be done via amiibo, via the method described above in “day 2”, or, by using NMT purchased from the Nook Stop machine to fly to mystery islands and villager hunt! If you do not invite someone to move to your island before 4:59 am, a random villager will populate the vacancy instead.

Unlocking any one of the shops should unlock Harriet, but if you’re still in the same in-game day as the day you paid it off then you might have to try time traveling to the next day to see if she’s there. I would leave Harv’s island and then try returning the next day to see if that does anything.

Stupid question but do the furniture items I put on my island need to be different in order to hit 5 stars? Cause I put like 50 campfires down and I’m still at 3 stars.

It’s good to put a variety of furniture since they all contribute different points. DIY furniture counts towards your nature points and anything you get from Nooks counts towards development points. Furniture that’s also more than 2k bells gets you can extra point, and you can get an extra point on top of it costs more than 20k bells. Size 3 items can give you an extra 3 points, so you can really rack up points with certain furniture pieces. I would say just keep talking to Isabelle and seeing what she wants you to focus on before anything else

5 stars is only needed for the gold watering can! What Mags is referring to though is that when you pick up a golden tool for the first time on a new character, you get the Nook Miles achievement for that tool. You can get a bunch of Nook Miles easily that way, which helps pay off the 5,000 Nook Miles loan Tom Nook gives you to upgrade your tent to a house

I was having issues a while back too. I had bought online and it wasn’t working so I contacted support, basically make sure your wifi is connected to your switch, maybe youll need to get closer to the router. If that doesn’t work, they had me delete the wifi name off my switch and re-add it, and if none of those work you may need to reset your router

There should be rules in the description, but from what I know you don’t learn diys there, you dont open your nookphone for too long, and you don’t drop items youve already picked up, but instead throw them away in the designated trash cans that are usually around the islands

I just completed the museum after 500 hours on my island, and I feel like I finally ran out of stuff to do. Am I missing something to have a truly 'maxed' island? The only things I don't want to do are obtaining all DIYs, completing the catalog, completing all nook mile missions.

I still don't have 300 DAL points but: I have all the gold trophies, gold tools, gyroids, yoga items, nook point items, paintings of all my villagers, completed each event, most models, paid off loans, 5 star island. Is there anything noteworthy left?

I'm pretty new to this game so i may not know everything, but i've got an issue. I'm looking for villagers via mystery islands. BUT i keep encountering the same 5/6 villagers on repeat. I've used like 100 tickets at this point, and i've met less than like 15 different villagers. It's to the point where its definitely not normal (for instance my last 5 tickets i met 3 times the same villager). I don't know what to do because there is definitely an issue (its not pure unluck where with 5/6 tickets such thing could theorically happen, its with a >100 tickets sample). I do insist that i'm not delusional or anything, or lying whatsoever, i truly just keep getting the same villagers on repeat. I've searched on the internet how to fix it, there were some talks around cache for people with a similar issue, but it did not fix anything. Im truly lost on what to do...

I have a switch 2 question. RN I have a switch lite, which i loved but now it has a slightly broken joystick that I've not bitten the bullet on getting it fixed. I mostly just want to finish the island i currently have there and then consider that a wrap on games played on my switch lite since the new console is coming out.

Could I theoretically transfer my island from switch lite to switch 2, finish building the island, and then move the island back to the switch lite? That way I could have a new island on the switch 2?

yeaaa thats what i was gonna do w my island, but really the decision of using treasure islands pretty much depends on how u want your gameplay to be. i find it really stressing to not have enough money or furniture to decorate my island the way i want it, and i find it very relaxing to decorate, but like if you want a slower gameplay you could just not use treasure islands but that would mean completing your island 100% the way you want it is pretty much impossible bc nooks cranny has like a limited amount of items it can offer so its VERY hard to get cool stuff to decor

If you prefer to not use treasure islands but do have NSO, you can always check the trade channels or post on them to see if you can find another player willing to sell/trade the item you want! But yes getting a furniture collection through regular gameplay does take significantly longer

But do keep in mind that treasure islands break Nintendo’s terms of agreement so be careful if you choose to use them and remember this server doesn’t promote them

i am just a regular user, but there's always a possibility for people to drop (h word) items, but it's normally their entire island/switch that's been (h word)(I've seen it irl). if someone has dropped suspicious items in your island try to request cleanup using island designer, if that doesn't work try and see if it disappears when you put an island home over it.

whether or not you lose your island, I did read somewhere that there is a small chance that it could corrupt your save file depending on the severity. but you could also tell from the user dropping the items whether their character is glitched or not, because the movements are a bit weird

Talk to Tom Nook and get to the point in the story where you start Project KK, he will give you a kit to set up your campsite and a smug villager will then spawn there. You can’t invite anymore villagers until you invite that one to live on your island.

If you get lucky, youll find an island with a different type of fruit!

almost all have Coconuts too, i recommend planting at least one for some extra Miles

but that's only for your island's sister fruit, it is not possible to find more than your original island fruit, sister fruit and coconuts from mystery islands

for other fruits you'd have to trade them with other users who have them as their original island fruit or sister fruit

yes, so for example, if your original island fruit is apples, you can find peaches in the mystery islands, but only peaches because peaches is your sister fruit

you won't be able to obtain any other fruit besides apples, peaches and coconuts without the online subscription, so 3 fruits max

another player might have oranges as their og fruit and cherries as their sister fruit, so you trade with that player to obtain oranges and cherries vise versa
