Yes you can do that. Each tt forward should spawn a new rock. Make sure you planted 150 weeds max because weed spawn is favored more than the rocks

No, that is just recommended as the time of day to TT to if you TT, since that's when generally most villagers are outside! But it doesn't really matter if you are not TT'ing

Are you sure the game had time to autosave after you invited the villager? It sounds like the invite was not actually saved, and because of that a random villager filled the empty plot

I'd recommend buying any DIY packs you see in the cabinet, they are fairly cheap and will unlock you some nice decoration options ^^ but when it comes to island rating, it doesn't really matter which items you use. My question is can we still visit each others islands without her having a Nintendo online membership? My account does have the membership and the DLC. She also wants the DLC but idk if she can play it without the membership. Also if I do decide to get the family membership, how would I use it on both switches?

yes, visiting each others islands is possible even without the membership, you would just do local multiplayer instead of online then, which means you'd have to be in the same room to play together. as for the dlc, i think she would either have to get it again on her switch, or get the online membership that has the dlc included. if you want her to be able to use the family membership on her switch, she just needs a nintendo account connected to her profile there, and then you can add her account to your family group so she can access the membership

If you want to start a new island, the best way is to set up the 2nd switch with a brand new account. Start the island, and then you can fly between the 2 with items. You may need a second NSO subscription though, unless you have a group NSO account maybe you can add the second switch

After that first campsite visitor moved in, future camp visitors only appear at random. Open plots are only guaranteed to stay open for one day. So you would need to invite them from somewhere else (NMT or player) if you don’t have a visitor there atm. Or you can just do nothing and eventually it will automatically be filled by a random villager

You have two options:

• buy a NMT then go to the airport and say you want to use it for a mystery island. Then invite the villager that is on the island. (A new one will appear on each island, so you can use multiple tickets until you find one you like)
• Visit a player’s island. There is no random option for this, it needs to be a friend or someone you have agreed to trade with so they can give you the code to visit

To actually add them as best friends, you need to first be friends on the Switch, via the Switch profile, and also in-game friends, which is a hidden status that gets activated when you visit their island/they visit your island. Then they should show up in the app and you can add them ^^

For a simple answer: it's very likely that it will stay empty for a single day only.

For a long answer:
It depends; if your MIQ (see picture) has a villager the plot is guaranteed to be filled the next day from when it became empty (more info on that in the pic). But if the queue is empty, there's a 20% chance for the plot to fill every time a new day begins

Got it. Most of it is just RNG, so it could just be some bad luck. But there are a couple of things that come to mind which you may find helpful:

1. Re-sync to real time and start the process over. Some folks find success with a refresh like this
2. You mentioned skipping 15 days initially. While 15 days is the minimum necessary, another variation of this tt method is to skip 1 month then go day by day. This should max out your chances of a someone wanting to move

Airport mystery islands on the other hand don't have as many resources, but have villagers on them when you have an empty plot. They are also twice as expensive as Kapp'n tours but Kapp'n can only take you to one island a day

Both have their own selections of rare and special islands that have harder-to-get stuff. It's more resource oriented with Kapp'n, and more critter oriented with airport

Nook’s Cranny can buy turnips at prices ranging from 9 to 660 bells per turnip. Nook’s Cranny has two distinct prices every day, one in the morning (from 8:00 AM to 11:59 AM), then another one in the afternoon (from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM). The goal is to sell your turnips for more than you spent on them. There are varying turnip price patterns, which means you won't always make profit from them so if you have NSO, it's better to just sell them at another player's island.
They will spoil exactly on the next Sunday and if you TT backwards.

And just so you know, tarantula and scorpion spawns were seriously nerfed in an update, so creating a player-made tarantula island isn't really worth your time for bell-making anymore. But if you want a tarantula for the museum or some for models, it can be an okay method

But when you go to the next day, by TT or normal, everything works as expected again. Trees will have advanced a state etc.

I think your best bet is to go to a Nook Miles island past 7 PM and clear it out of trees and flowers. You should be able to spawn a few mole crickets that way, which you hopefully can just dig up going one by one! I don't think there's a way to guarantee it unfortunately.

And for that last one, make sure it's actually a lobster and not a crawfish, since crawfish is a fish not a sea creature haha

Other more niche requirements for the Brewster quest are:

• you have to be playing as the resident representative
• the museum day event cannot be active (during latter half of may)
• your museum must be upgraded to have the art section

You'll need to buy a wetsuit, wear it, and enter the ocean around your island! You'll see shadows in the water that you can catch by diving under by pressing the Y button. Grab a sea creature and donate to Blathers and hopefully you can unlock Brewster!
