He is a special npc and if you talk to him enough times (usually 5) he will wake up and give you a task. Once completed with the task he will thank you and the next day send a special item in the mail that you cannot get anywhere else

With the money trees I know you can dig them up after planting but can you do it immediately after or do you have to wait until they're at a certain growth point?

I've been trying for a month to get black cosmos but I only ever get more orange (occasionally a red or yellow). I thought it was a 25% chance? Am I doing something wrong or just incredibly unlucky? (This is the day after a rain and I have not watered yet)

It could depend on the hybrid coding of your orange ones but I remember it being super finicky to get black and then I managed to get a couple, and then was able to breed more and more from those two. If you have NSO, you could ask others for black flowers or if other people come to your island and water your flowers, that can increase your spawn odds - and may also encourage black spawns

Yes. If the villager is in boxes, then you can go forward one day and it'll be an 'open plot' which is the day you go hunting

(if you have NSO, you could also invite someone else's villager in boxes to your island if they're advertising in the villager channels and you have 7+ villagers)

so, i go a month ago, check the two villagers i want gone (idc who of them gets the thought bubble), nor them nor anybody else has the bubble, so i close the game, go one day forwards and repeat

ok so, my advice is ; talk to all villagers save. time travel one month fowards. save (to skip the hair animation fowards). then tt day by day forwads, looking for the bubble (no need to save). if after 2 weeks you don't see any bubble start over. if you see a bubble on wrong villagers continue. I'd recommand saying no to a villager you want to keep to have more chances of the right ones asking

Make sure you have at least 8 villagers.
• Put out lots of different furniture.
• Put out a lot of flowers. Put out way more than you think you need.
• Try to build bridges and inclines where you can, it'll help a lot with development points.
• Listen to Isabelle! If she talks about development or scenery, you need more development points (furniture, diy items, infrastructure, etc.). If she talks about the island's natural environment, you need more nature points (flowers, trees, shrubs, etc.).

A gifted villager has been given clothes or furniture items which they can wear and display within their home, so basically anything they’ve been given that can be seen and is outside their ‘default’ appearance is considered gifted

Just means they know they’ve given their villager something. Villagers won’t display things like fruit, but giving it to them will count for friendship points. Meanwhile I know I’ve given mine clothes and furniture over the journey so they’re definitely gifted 😂

If you put down the plot, you should be able to hunt to fill that plot now. The villager moving out will be in boxes tomorrow and gone the day after for another empty plot, so then you can hunt again on that day

You can only invite from someone else when they're in boxes once you have 7+ villagers. It's the game's way of forcing you to have six different personality types at the start (i.e. your starter two, then three, then the campsite villager for six)

If you have a friend in real life with ACNH then you can trade for other fruits, yes. But you cannot connect with anyone online without a subscription

If you want the Sanrio people to move in, then yes, the campsite is the way to do it. If you just want to swipe them to be able to unlock the associated gear, the campsite is a very slow way to do it when there are six Sanrios. The trick I learned was go to Photopia on Harv's Island and invite them to there, because you can swipe all six at once and all the gear will still be unlocked

im trying to get the last 3 bugs that spawn in december, Atlas Moth, Goliath Beetle and Rainbow Stag, all of which spawn on trees.
I figured it would be easier to keep track of all the trees on a nmt island. I removed all the flowers, catching and releasing every other bug that spawns, but its been nearly an hour and not a single one of the bugs i need has spawned on a tree, the only things thatve spawned are tiger beetles, drone beetles and fireflies.'
am i doing something wrong here? is there a better way to get those bugs?

The only thing I'd suggest is moving the trees closer together so that you don't have to run around quite so much but beyond that... I don't think there's much else you can do. They're all rare bugs so they have low chances to start with

They will slowly melt down over the next few days (and give you a large snowflake each day). If you want it gone faster than that, time travel will get rid of it (but it'll also get rid of all your others, so beware of that)

It might be possible but as soon as you fly to another island, they can escape it because the game will reset locations. If it's to try to make a villager trapped that you don't like and want to leave by 'making them hate you' or whatever, it also won't work

You can 'trap' roaming NPCs like Celeste or Daisy Mae with furniture items. If you want others to visit them, an easy trick is to dig a hole so that people can jump over the hole to talk to them and jump back over afterwards (because once someone is there, you can't pick up/put down furniture items)

They can appear between 7 pm and 4 am ; during that time, while outside, unequip your tools, tilt the right stick up to look the sky, then press A when a shooting star passes (they make a blinking sound) to wish upon it
For every wish you make, a random star fragment will spawn on your shores the next day, up to a max of 20 - And if you have player visitors on your island, for every 5 wishes they make, you'll get a extra star fragment the next day, up to a max of 20, totalling 40 with those from your wishes

1. Go to the Home page on your Nintendo Switch.
2. Scroll over and go into your ⚙️ System Settings.
3. Scroll down to Data Management and select Delete Save Data.
4. Scroll to Animal Crossing: New Horizons and select it, and then select Delete All Save Data for This Software.
