There are some special event clothing items that will usually be available at the HHP apparel shop during those concerts and in the days leading up to it. Other than that, it just means you’ve completed the main storyline for HHP — so you’ll learn those new reactions, and you’ll be able to remodel villager homes on your main island now

If you don't like who that is, then force close your game without ending the dialogue and you can reopen and they might request someone else. If you end the dialogue, it'll autosave and 'lock in' that villager no matter what

Villagers will tell the player to stay warm and comment on the freezing temperatures. On Southern Hemisphere islands, it will be sunny on Toy Day and the music will be more vibrant and use extra percussion. You need to be in the same room/next to each other basically. When you speak to Orville at the airport and ask to visit someone, you'd choose the 'local' option rather than the online play choice

So if you live with someone with AC or have a real life friend who plays, then you can travel to their island by sitting near each other. But if someone's got a code here to visit online and you don't have a membership, you won't be able to use it

If you had an island backup in the Cloud, it might be possible (and contacting Nintendo itself might help with that). Generally, the advice is that you need both Switches and the Island Transfer Tool to be able to get an island from one Switch to the other

Gifted means that the villager has received clothes/furniture (and 'heavily' would mean lots of that), which they may display in their house or wear. Some people want ungifted villagers so they can supply them with clothes/furniture that suit their island aesthetic without additional things being displayed or worn from a previous villager owner

Time traveling does not reverse / rewind progress. You still keep all the progress, items, etc. that you've completed / acquired even if you time travel backwards.

Basically time travel is done by:
a) close your game (save it first)
b) open up the Settings on the Switch and find the System option (at the bottom)
c) turn off 'Synchronise clock via internet' and then adjust the date/time to whatever you want (e.g. Dec 24)
d) reopen the game

You can then follow the same steps after you've done the Toy Day stuff although if you do the 'synchronise clock via internet', your Switch will auto-return to the date/time that it is now

how does the island system work?
For context, I want to create a new Island (to start fresh and to seperate myself from the island I played on years ago with my deadname) and transfer money and items I got in that playthrough to the new island.
My original plan was to find a friend with an island to dump all my things with before I restart my island, but I remembered I have a second switch.
So my question is: if I use the same account that has the old undesirable Island to become Island Representative on a new switch, will that cause any issues? Will both islands and characters exist without issue on the same account, allowing me to transfer items to the new island?

If you use the same account you can't visit yourself, but you can make a dummy account to visit yourself on local.

Also you can't change the island representative so you can't really become the island representative

They will eventually respawn day by day. You can go to mystery islands with nook mile tickets to harvest more rocks. be sure you do not eat anything before you hit rocks, that is what breaks them, and without eating you can get 8 things (or is it 7?) you just need to hit them in succession

Those won’t be affected! All you need is the island transfer tool. It doesn’t affect other switch game data unless the console is formatted or the data is manually deleted. All it will do is switch over the ACNH data!

After they've been on your island a certain amount of days, you'll eventually get a third speaking prompt to go along with 'I want to chat' or 'Just saying hi' which is along the line of 'Do you want this?'

If you have both consoles it’s best to just use the tool and follow its directions

Might need to reset your Switch and restarting the game? Hold down the power button for about three seconds and selecting the restart option under 'power options'

Keep putting the in-game path down or get rid of the one underneath it. At the moment, you've got a path over the top of one path, and another on its own - the game picks it up like it's two different paths

You have a couple different paths going on here: the in game one and two custom design ones. You can just do the custom designs, or just one of the overlay ones. If you wanted it consistent, you can do any of your two overlays over the in-game path. There just has to be at least one transparent pixel in the design for it to align correctly

The path you have circled is overlaid with one of the in-game paths. That's what I meant about needing to continue that in-game path everywhere, then put your overlay or remove the in-game path completely and just have the top brick

So what Im trying to say is the somehow the orange one takes up the whole space instead of being "overlay" on top of the in game path. I was wondering if there is any way to make my custom brick path to also take up the whole space instead of overlaying.

You can get rid of the overlay simply by not using the in-game path underneath it?

Or if you’re adamant about having the in-game path under just make sure every pixel in your path is colored in and not transparent

HHP is tied to your Nintendo account, so you shouldn't have to buy it again if you're playing with the same account you purchased it with before. You have to play through a certain amount of the base game before the DLC will kick in though

Question!! When u start the game and are given 3 plots by Tom nook can u villager hunt to fill those plots or are they all auto fills since u have to make furniture for the houses etc

You can hunt for those 3 villagers before you submit the furniture for each plot. If you submitted the items and finished the plot before inviting one from mystery island then it will autofill when you talk to tom nook that day. If you go hunting first. You can invite all 3 villagers on the same day
