Insect models are what you obtain from Flick when you exchange three of the same bugs for a ‘collectible’. (Or fish models from CJ) Blathers will only accept bugs/fish/sea critters that are alive, and you cannot trade them or have them dropped on your island.

You either collect what you need slowly, time travel to different months, or can visit other people’s islands in different seasons/months/hemispheres to catch what you need to donate to Blathers to fill up the museum

2 options -

1. If you haven't played in a while, do you still have an active Online account to be able to travel to other people?
2. Sometimes you'll get an error message that will show up. If you do some Googling, you might find it's a NAT type issue. In short, slow wifi can mean you can't visit people. If it's every time you try to go to a variety of people, it's your wifi that's slow. If you can visit some people but not that one specific person, then it's their wifi. The only real 'fix' for it is find a place with better wifi

Okay, it sounds like it may be an issue on their end then. Either they don't have an online subscription or they are having connection issues. You can always check your NAT type to be sure it's not you, but if you're not getting the error, I would doubt it's an issue on your end

• The basic idea is to fill your island with plants and furniture, as Isabelle usually suggests. So if she says to add flowers, do it - or at least, wait for them to be fully bloomed (to get the max points from them) ; Same thing if she hints at adding furniture.

You need to delete the save data in your system menu to reset the island. Making a new profile just moves someone onto the original island - and they will not be the representative even if the other profile is deleted

It's automatic and is always gonna be the first player to step foot in the game

It looks like both characters have a house on your island. If you don't have a profile on your Switch that's connected to the other character, you can create a new profile and play as that character. That's the only way you'll be able to progress currently, as there's no way to change who the rep is.

Your other option is to delete your save data and completely start from scratch. If you do this, just make sure to start the game when you are logged into your main account -- the one you want to be the island rep.

Yes, it'll take some progress before you reach the point where you can terraform. But it sounds like you've set it up and you are the Resident Rep, so you're headed in the right direction!

Her interior will not be her own as she’s one of your first 3 villagers. You need to have her move out then move back in for her actual home interior. Alternatively, if you have the DLC, you can either design her home or have it reset to her original one. This requires you to finish the DLC storyline for this ability however.

In kk mechanics with online play if you are the guest you will not get a song not even a kk mania point even if you request the song first. Only the host will get the point for kk mania and the song will be mailed to them the next day. So there is no point in going to other islands for kk concert lol. Maybe just for hangin out and playing with your friends
