I recommend to keep asking Nook for instructions and use the axe to hit trees for wood and stones for.. stone. You'll need 30x of stone and 30x of all 3 types of wood to build the shop.

Wood from trees, you can get stone, clay, iron and gold nuggets from rocks. You can purchase a slingshot from a Nook child and shoot down flying presents tied to balloons for goodies.

if you're looking for a specific fish it can help to take a ladder to a miles island and look for the fish of the correct size there

Celeste does indeed come only when you have stars but you can have stars without celeste.
Celeste is limited to visit once a week at most, but you can have multiple showers.
She prioritizes the heavy shower if you have one that week, or come to a random one if you have multiple light or multiple heavy

Villagers have a friendship metre that increases when you give an item to a villager. The more you give them a gift the more likely they are to give you their photo. Friendship carries in through when you take a villager from someone, for example, if someone says they have a non gifted Raymond they will have no gift been given to them. I hope this answers your question.

it's not exactly that though , more like they store some items you give. if you gift consumable like fruits or materials they won't store it. you will not have the friendship points the same as previous people

if you talk to a villager and they were thinking of moving and they ask you if you want them to or not, you can close the game without answering them, and time travel to the next day and when you open the game in that next day, a different villager will be thinking of moving

I read up that you can remove all but fruit trees in your island, then plant 5 saplings and wait till fully grown, then plant two more trees and those two will always drop furniture. That's not a bug, that's intended. The first 5 villagers will not have their actual house (the 2 you moved to the island with, and then the 3 you craft the DIY furniture for). If you have the DLC, once you do 30 vacation homes in Happy Home Paradise, you unlock the ability to remodel villager homes on your island, so you can do that too to get them out of the starter house instead of moving them back and forth like that just to get their regular house.

the bell boom one increase both buying and selling prices 20% (except for turnips)
ther's also the beautiful island that prevent cockroaches, and trash fishing, and you get a flower boost and a lower weed rate

i may be wrong but i think its just random. :/ as in, you get close to a villager, which means now its POSSIBLE for them to give you their photo, but that doesnt mean theyre most likely to give you their photo than they are likely to give anything else

so you could be close to a villager but still have enough bad luck that they always just happen to give you something else instead of the photo

You can either go hunting with Nook Miles Tickets, invite a villager from someone else's island, or you could adjust the timing on your game to return to earlier in the morning to just stay on that day (don't go past 5.01am)

And just to clarify a bit: You do not have to interact with them for them to go into your MIQ -- If you visit a player who recently had a villager leave (and that villager was voided), then they can end up in your MIQ even if you don't speak with them

So yeah, if you play online with others often, then it's most likely that you do have villagers in that queue

If you give souvenir chocolates to a villager who already has a vacation home on your HHP island, they will still follow you to the HHP island the same way any other villager would. The difference is just that they won’t ask you about building a vacation home since they already have one. Instead, when you can speak to them they’ll offer the typical dialog options such as redecorating, giving them a roommate, visiting their vacation home, etc.

as long as you have a campsite they will show up at your campsite

then you have to complete a couple of quests for them on separate visits before you can invite them to move in

when they are ready to move in they will give you a menu of all the villagers you have and you can choose which one to kick out

amiibos don't follow the 'last person to move in can't move out' rule
