As long as you change the time back to normal it'll be fine. It gives you a pop up to let you know if the time is different than it should be and gives you a choice to continue, or to stop until the time is corrected

Ngl, they probably just clicked the pop-up thingy by accident, cuz it does let you know if your clock is out of sync before you start the game. I've been time-travelling non-stop and thankfully haven't spaced for Tomodachi. I play hello kitty and ddv, so I have the ingrained habit of fixing my clock first, but I've definitely had to restart hkia before because I spaced.

I think so. its similar to animal crossing in the sense you build up an island and as for character relationships you just nudge them in the right direction instead of directly interacting.
