I used to play New Leaf religiously years ago on my old DS, but it’s been about 6 or 7 years since I last played any Animal Crossing. I finally got a Switch recently and picked up New Horizons — and I’m loving it all over again!

I’ve got around 15 hours in so far — I’ve unlocked bridges and inclines, built the town hall, and I’ve got 6 villagers on my island. The most recent issue I’ve had with the game was accessing necessary tools. If you started an island with a certain account, you have to use the same account to get through the parts of the games that get you access to tools you will need in the beginning, before all the island starts and terra-transforming.

After that, make friends on Discord for trade and such. I still need friends, but I’ll update this intro when I have whatever codes I need to share my island. Try not to steal please (if that’s even possible). I forget if you need friends that have Nintendo accounts to visit islands.
