Buy a glasspad and a sleeve
Or
Find the chair height where your shoulder at neutral height makes your forearm just barely touching the pad
Get a sleeve so you can rest ur arm on it a little and you dont have to float so hard
thats not the issue, sleeve or not my froarm is still uncomfortable
the reason i said it is mainly to see if it helps, since for me if i cant have a sleeve and put a little pressure in the wrist down on the pad it makes my arm uncomfy and messes my aim up
it lets you put pressure down without friction which you might like or can help some pains cuz you could relax
there all ideas to try cuz if you dont have a sleeve you can cut a sock just to test and see if you like it

Pull your mousepad a little out of the desk, maybe the stitching is annoying for you and you didnt realize yet
Or just get your chair a little bit lower.
Looks uncomfortable af. having to make a vertical flick and need to lock your lbow to do it
i have both, im already using a glasspad, the sleeve doesnt do anything on this one
its a glasspad
Then get a little bit lower. I feel like you are too high
