Ive been using the Roccat Kone Pro for around 2.5 years (ex Minexcraft player). Recently, the mouse has been having issues with connectivity, particularly when I flick (I mainly play FPS games).
My brother and I both bought the Kone Pro, and since he hasn't been gaming for a while, I swapped our mouses. Its been about a month, but he is back and he says that he simply cant use my mouse anymore. I was feeling like upgrading anyways since its Christmas and I have saved up some money.
I've been doing my own research, but can't decide, so I am asking here for recommendations.
Some pointers to help with recommendations:
- My hand size is roughly 18 x 9cm. Pretty sure this is medium sized.
- I don't mind the mouse being wired since I do have a Pulsar micro bungee es. If you do recommend a wireless mouse, I would prefer it having longer battery life although it isn't a big deal.
- I use claw grip.
- The weight doesn't matter too much. 45 - 60 g with a ±5g difference would be good.
- I would like 2 side buttons.
- Im not too picky about the shape. Most mice these days wouldn't really accommodate the Kone Pro shape I'm used to anyways. As long as it around ~120 mm in length.
- I want at least 1000 hz polling rate.
- My budget is TOPS $200 AUD.
Mice I've been eying:
- The GPX Superlight 2 for roughly 150 AUD (Its 170, but I have a 20 dollar coupon on Amazon).
- The Viper V3 Pro for roughly 200 AUD (Its pushing my budget but if its THAT good I would be willing to buy it).
- The XM2 8k for 125 AUD.
- The XM2w 4k for 179 AUD.
- The Lamzu Maya X for 190 AUD + shipping (I believe it was 150 AUD for Black Friday but I wasn't too sure about getting it.)
- OP1 8k for 109 and OP1w 4k for 200 AUD (I know that they are good but I'm scared that they'll be too small for me and Ill experience cramping).
