#Casual looking to replace EC1-A

Hey everyone, and thanks in advance for any help.

I've had an EC1-A for the past maybe 10 years, like pre-benq. I haven't had any issues until recently, with the already shitty scroll becoming sticky and missing inputs, and I figured I'd move to something wireless anyway. The ec1-a just feels like an extension of my hand at this point so I'm looking for something similar and wasn't sure if zowie's current offerings are still the best bet.

Most of the stuff I see now focuses on super lightweight options but I don't think I care about that. At this point I'm not gaming like that often, just clicking through some spreadsheets lol or slower paced games. Maybe I like something on the heavy side so I don't have to do as much work for precision? But if I need to go lighter for the shape I want, so be it I guess. I also realized I mostly fingertip the ec1, I guess sometimes palm. I don't think my hands are that big (L20cm, W10.5cm) so maybe I should size down? But palming the ec1 my fingertips are too far forward to me.

I saw zowie offers a wireless EC1 now. Other options I've seen suggestions for that make sense to me are from vaxee (the outset? or a new E1 that I think just came out?), as well as the pulsar xlite v3 (medium? Large?). But like I said I'm a casual and am not really familiar with the options available currently. Most comparisons I see show really minute differences in mouse shape that I don't think I'd have any basis to compare against. And many compare the ec2 but not ec1.

As for budget, everything seems to be around the same range tbh so idk I'll just buy whatever. I'll use it for another 10+ years. Though I think the xlite is on sale right now which is tempting.

Sorry if this was rambling/not clear but thank you for any advice!

If you mainly finger tip the EC1, then sizing down could make sense. So an EC2 Wireless should be in consideration. But if there's no discomfort fingertipping, then keeping the same size is okay too.

Xlite V3 Large matches the EC1 and medium matches the EC2. They are lightweight and have newer sensor than the EC1/2W. Main complaint is people not liking the click feel of the Raesha optical switches. And holes in the bottom.

On Razer's side you have Deathadder V3 Pro, V3 Wired, and V3 Hyperspeed. Pro and Wired are the large size while Hyperspeed is the medium size. Those are great sensors, weight, and optical switches. See if you can go into a store and feel the shape. It's nearly identical to Zowies.
