Hello,

After trying a range of different pads, I think I finally found my sweet spot in terms of speed/control and feel of surface. The Zowie GSRSE Rogue!

Sadly, after using it for a while it starts developing slow spots as well as the cloth starting to peel of from the base/fray.

Due to this I now started looking at what alternatives there is out there with the same "smooth" surface and same/as close as possible speed and control as the GSRSE Rogue.

Stitched edges aint a must for me, as long as it's better quality than QCK and Zowie. Honestly prefer without, but if thats what it takes to dont have this happen I will live with it!

Heard the Vaxee PA are supposed to be a Clone/very close. Do you guys have any suggestions? ๐Ÿ™

Pads I've tried:

  • QCK Heavy (Liked, but same issues)
  • LGG Saturn (didnt like, to rough surface and way to slippery. Tried to adjust over a long time)
  • LGG Jupiter (Way to slow for me)
  • Vaxee PA, Black (To slow as well)
  • GSRSE Rogue (Sweet spot just like I mentioned above)
  • GSR2 (Very slow and muddy, not my time of pad)

tbh just get whatever artisan pad is closest in speed

Honestly I've tried a bunch already and found pad that fits me well. Rather ask for specific recommendation for something close to the GSRSE Rogue than just order something on the fly that I won't like.

Just calling Artisan is not really what I'm looking for haha. If you have any experience of a Artisan pad close to GSRSE Rogue I'd love to hear about it. ๐Ÿ˜Š

artisan zero is basically the same

maybe a tiny bit faster

Zero goes away sadly, not looking for a pad with a rough surface. Want something smooth. Already tried the Saturn which is on the rougher side as well. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I mean why not just get another gsrse then I'd ya liked it?

Cause it sadly seems to be a pretty common issue. Not big on throwing out money for something that will just repeat the same issue. Second of all, why would they ever improve it then, if people buy more of their product cause the quality is bad. ๐Ÿ’€

And for 50-60 Euros there should be an better, more high quality pad out there with kind of the same properties. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Pretty sure there is a artisan that fits your description

If I found my Saturn to fast & slippery, the Hein will be on another level? ๐Ÿ˜…

It's a bit faster than the zero

And with the GSRSE being a pretty thin and firm pad a soft poron based pad would just make me inconsistent if I'd had to guess.

Thats what Squishy pads did with me before.
