#Get another G703 to replace my disintegrating one or try something new?

I basically have zero problems with my 5-year-old G703 except for one thing- the soft rubber on the sides is disintegrating, especially the right side. My pinky nail really digs into the rubber and has caused it to completely rub off. Replaced the sides with some extra padding but you can see that too has been worn through. It looks worse in the pic than IRL haha. The thumb side has been worn down too, but probably more due to general friction and any oils on my skin. My hands and fingernails are always clean and clipped due to playing instruments, but whether it's the design of my pinky or the mouse it's causing a problem.

Should I just get another G703 and see if it lasts 5 more years? Or is there another similar enough mouse that won't have this issue with the side pads? Budget isn't really an issue but also don't need to buy the $200 new trendy mouse if not necessary. Any brand is fine except Razer, bad experiences in the past. Thanks!

Not the pm1 exactly, but I have used the Sora V2 and built quality with that one is pretty awesome. I'm sure it'll last years. Reason for why I'm stating is the pm1 and the Sora V2 are of the same material, internals and from the same factory
