#looking for a good lightweight mouse that will last me a good while

i currently have a logitech g pro x superlight, and i've had it for over a year now, i really like how light it is, and it feels okay in my hand, but it's developed a double clicking problem AND a scroll wheel that scrolls in the opposite direction everytime i use it, very annoying.

so i'm just looking for a wireless, and relatively lightweight mouse that will last me a good while, my budget is like 200 - 250 dollars, so i'm going for quality here, and just wanted some possible recommendations anyone has. i don't really know what good brands there are outside of razer or logitech, and i don't wanna impulsively buy another expensive mouse that will end up being annoying a year later. i've heard good things about zowie and their form.

my hand size is: 11 cm wide, 15 cm long.
my grip is a forward palm grip, i think? i drew it out. and here are some pictures of how i grip my superlight naturally.

#

15x11cm sounds so wrong lmao

#

this is what 15x11 would look like

#

idk maybe i snhouldnt doubt hand sizes out of all things

radiant venture
#

wicked forge

wicked forge
#

radiant venture
#

15x10 cm

wicked forge
#

damn

#

you got small ass hands

radiant venture
#

😭

wicked forge
#

sprime pm1

radiant venture
#

i do be short

#

but i go gym so i'm jacked 😂

wicked forge
#

yeah i can see that

#

gigantic

#

i would go with either a sprime pm1 or a lamzu thorn

#

both or these are mice that are pretty good with palm

radiant venture
#

ah okay, good build quality?

wicked forge
#

and they both force you to tilt your hand in a way

#

similar to the photo you sent

radiant venture
#

ahhh, yeah

#

i didn't even know a gen 2 superlight came out

#

is it a significant improvement on gen 1?

wicked forge
#

most dissappointing release of 2023

#

g pro x usb c

radiant venture
#

oof

#

wow the sprime looks like a logitech

wicked forge
#

yeah

#

its essentially a smaller g703

radiant venture
#

thanks for the rec!

wicked forge
#

in terms of build quality i honestly dont know much about the pm1

#

<

#

lamzu build quality always good tho

radiant venture
#

anything else i should know about, like custom skates

wicked forge
#

dont use a shit mousepad

radiant venture
#

or are they good stock

wicked forge
#

theyre good stock

radiant venture
wicked forge
#

assuming you have the money to splurge, mousepads from artisan are always a great pick

radiant venture
#

hmm

wicked forge
#

personally i use the hien which is very fast

#

i remember seeing that the hayate otsu was very good

#

boardzy and haus are goated reviewers

radiant venture
#

thanks a lot

#

and to wash mousepads after they get dirty, just soapy water and gently scrub with a abrasive free sponge right?

wicked forge
#

to avoid risking damaging it (which is very easy to do)

#

you can use your hands and just massage it

radiant venture
#

gotcha

radiant venture
#

also hien soft or hien mid?

wicked forge
#

you should probably decide if you want the hien in the first place lmao

#

but regular soft is better imo

radiant venture
#

yeah i'm looking at the boardzy vid rn

wicked forge
#

oh ok

#

mb

radiant venture
#

all good all good

radiant venture
#

any cons to an xsoft artisan pad? @wicked forge

#

and is an artisan zero a lot different to an artisan hien?

wicked forge
#

dependsing on how much force you use holdig your mouse the mouse could sink in

wicked forge
#

hien is VERY fast

#

zero is medium/slow

#

zero is more recommended to people who play tactical shooters/need more precise aim (counter strike, valorant)

#

hien is more towards flicking and being able to move a mouse fast (tf2, overwatch type games)

radiant venture
#

it's the only one that's available

#

unless you have some other good mousepad suggestions, non-artisan route maybe

wicked forge
#

artisan zero has a TON of good cheaper clones

#

artisan hien has like 1

#

im p sure he mentioned it in his video

radiant venture
#

after more observation, i might have a subtle claw grip @wicked forge lamzu thorn would still be good right?

wicked forge
#

lamzu thorn is my #1 pick for relaxed claw

#

lmao
