how did this person bypass the quest limit??

So I was recently playing vrc, and I noticed somebody who uploaded an avi this August was able to bypass the quest limit. Anybody have a guess on how they did it?? And does anyone know them? There user is KYOKA-CHI

I think you’re seeing the pc side since it’s any platform. Unless you’re on quest yourself.

I'm on phone which is quest. My girlfriend used the character earlier and she said it said it was 32 MB on her side and she was using the quest

She doesn't even own a PC

And anyways the quest and Android build of vrchat are pretty much identical.

And the exact same avatar on PC was like 300 MB

So it's definitely not the PC side

some people have been ripping files and it home how works

i havent tested it myself so dont quote me on that

I know the process of ripping files. It doesn't really do that. I had to rip one of my old avatars because I didn't have access to the model anymore. And I originally used the quest to bypass on it, but unfortunately trying to re-upload the same files did not yield at the same results.

I only use ripping to get back my old avatars that I lost access to the files to

I don't know if you still call it ripping if you're ripping your own avatars
