Settings randomly reset

Those aren’t random, they happen at world bosses and things like that for performance reasons.

With that said, settings do get randomly changed with updates at the same time, but the two you have circled are more of a specific case vs random

It’s one of the reasons at siege pregather, our gm/shotcaller always tells everyone to check their settings

I don‘t do world bosses.
And why should it be disabled when it is set to on when i log in?

Do you do solo Garmoth? Probably other activities activate it too I’m not aware of

It happened while switching char from heidel to velia.

Or it happens in dungeons, rbf like any time it‘s random

Might just been really populated at the time if I had to guess? Or the game just “decided” it needed to turn off or you will crash

When i log in fresh daily it‘s resetted too

Would that not mean it has to set to on like opposite way in the picture?
I enable it that the players aren‘t visible like it is in the description

For example hide tent of other players is always on

Only other thing I can think of is you are not saving your settings, sometimes the game has issues with that

Try adjusting the settings, switching characters, logging out, and logging back in?

You want character optimization and hide other players off for PvP

Idk about PvE players but in PvP it will just make it so you cannot see anyone

I did that, it saves them when i switch from my main to tag it‘s there

Then i did dungeon it was gone on my 2nd run with tag

After i switched back and forth to save

I ride to heidel then switched to an alt in Velia and it resetted the settings again

I‘m pretty sure it‘s bugged

If the game is turning it back on like that, sounds like it can’t handle running with them off and needs to turn them back on

I got no issues with mine staying off and me and everyone in my guild generally only has it from what I mentioned before

Especially if it’s happening in stuff like mid dungeon

The game turns them off and i have to manually turn it on.
Like the game don‘t want me to hide the other adventurers

And this issue happens now for months.

My first one i got reported was the setting "region" it went from international to german always

Then my settings with defense icons and hit detection etc. Resetted

For quite 4-5months i have these settings 😅

If it doesn’t affect performance, I would just leave it off. But yeah this sounds like it’s one for the GMs

I‘d like to see my mates in content and it affects my view in PvP scenarios ig

People recommend to keep it at 30-35 on PS, Xbox using 50

And hiding others always on

But that happens automatically at GBs or worldbosses anyways i think

It’s not even about that in pvp, if you have hide other players on, you will not see enemies until it’s too late. Often times only after they attack you

If you are pvping with those settings on you are crippling yourself

Wait so the 2nd one should be lowest as possible to see further away opponents or is maxed out (50) best option?

I thought 1st setting on and the slider to max is best for pvp

Iirc, console cannot adjust the slider, I might be mistaken on that

Hide other adventurers should be off

Character optimization should be off

Yes performance will be “worse” however, if you don’t do this, it’s like you will be fighting invisible ghosts in siege/node wars

Good good, yh we can set slider from 10-50. so i thought it affects opponents distance view.
According to Siege Guild players 50 is best but only XSX players us it bec PS can‘t handle and recommended was 30-35 on PS
