There is an accessibility option for PlayStation that may be what you're looking for. I will place the link for this below but if this is not what you're looking for please let me know & if you could, can you provide a screenshot so I can have an idea in-case I'm misinterpreting your request.
Learn how to customise your controller settings, set up display zoom, and enable closed captions using accessibility settings on PlayStation®5 consoles.
I am having a similar issue. The text size for some elements is very difficult to see at a distance. The Skill Guide is the particular element I am speaking of. I have to move close to the tv to make out what it says. I know in time, muscle memory will make it obsolete but while still learning it makes it difficult. Nothing in the game or system settings is able to resolve the problem.
Thank you for informing me, if you have a chance can you provide a screenshot so I can have a better idea.
I’ll have to look into how to send a screenshot from my PS5, but this is a photo of what my screen looks like at the distance I sit while I play. The skill guide text is very small. Particularly the button commands are hard to decipher. If I could make it larger in the edit UI mode, that would be perfect. Another note with the edit UI, being able to hide the button commands on the lower right would be great too.
Here is the screenshot. It likely has better resolution.
@elfin snow Thanks for replying under my post. This is exactly what I mean. Resolution is bad and some (specifically white) text is very hard to read unless you are really closeby with your eyes
I was going to mention the exact same thing. I’m kinda shocked it hasn’t come up before. I’ve been paying attention more and there definitely are other instances than the skill guide. I think it’s just the most prevalent for me right now.
@rich anvil It’s odd though. Looking at the two photos I shared, the screenshot is clear as could be. I may fiddle with my TV settings later to see if I can adjust it that way. My TV only does up to 1080p so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with the difference.
