#Ability audio bug

Hi! Im having the same isue!! All audios working just fine, except skills/attack audio

Hello I have a few questions for you, if you don't mind answering.
Has the audio always played like this or did it recently change after an update?
Have you cleared you system cache before?
Does this occur at all times or does it go in & out during various situations?

For the first question, I’m not sure. I recently returned from a long hiatus from the game and I don’t know if the audio bug has been present. Sorry :/
For the second question, I have not. I will try that once I return home today!

Ofc! Thank you! Sorry for the final question it’s always occurs, no matter what I’m doing. And I have some other information that could help; my father plays on the same exact console and he gets the same issue, however, once he swaps characters or servers usually the audio returns. My game will not return the audio no matter how many times I swap. Thanks again! 🙂

When you experienced the audio issue after clearing the system cache was it immediate after accessing the game or did it occur a little down the line?
What type of network do you play on (Wired/Wireless)
You're on PlayStation, are you on PlayStation 4 or 5?
The settings your dad has, are they the same? Also are you playing using the 4k setting and are you using the same display settings/sound settings on your monitor/tv?
This may be related to console performance as well.
Have you tried adjusting your PlayStations MTU setting to 1473? A lot of players who experienced similar audio/performance issues state that this has helped (although it is not a silver bullet it is a potential band-aid).
The audio issue was immediate. Pretty much no change in the issue unfortunately

Yeah he does have the same settings on and no I do not have the 4k setting on. And I do believe my monitor has the normal sound settings on.

When you changed it did you perform a cold boot of the console?
I have not! I will do that right now
Gotcha also does your dad play wired or wireless as well?
He plays wired.
However he has played wirelessly recently and did not encounter the same issue

No worries mate, apologies that I wasn't able to resolve this faster but we will continue to investigate this issue & resolve it as soon as we can.
I’m reporting audio loss 2 years now and get same replies from support I get for any problem they will tell you to “rest assured” and “worry not” and that’s all they will do, don’t waste your time contacting them, around the time that memory optimiser was added this intentional audio loss started occurring when the game is low on memory it just dumps audio (at least for me on old gen), it happens me every time I enter a town or city, attend a world boss or enter RBF, basically anywhere with other players, or if I play for an extended period of time and log onto many of my characters I will eventually lose audio from my character, NPCs and horse etc I’ve sent countless tickets with videos and always same reply: clear your cache check your connection and rest assured we are doing all we can, same as minimap black squares bug, have it since 2021 and still not fixed

And the most recent, and support surprised I’m still experiencing it as if I was supposed to have fixed it myself already, but they tell me to “worry not” like seriously a bug over 2 years and all they do is tell you worry not
