Some small history

This car had came in at a time where my father's car had some failures so it was a blessing but it was not without its issues. Just a week after I received it. I had hit a hard bump at some rail road tracks and suddenly the car began to struggle before eventually dying.

I had no tools or anything so I was stuck trying to look for loose connectors, hoses coming off, anything really.

Eventually a good samaritan helped get me home (which was 25 minutes from the breakdown site) after what was like 2-3 hours and I had the car towed.

Smoke tests revealed no leaks, I took off the downpipe to verify if it was a clogged catalytic converter, all and everything checked out, which stumped both me and the PO. I eventually began to suspected skipped timing and took the covers all off and took a gander.

The intake cam gears on cylinder 4's side skipped an entire 3 teeth.

Fortunately nothing was bent and after re-timing the engine and installing new belt and tensioner and ran beautifully ever since.

Afterwards, I began driving and tuning for E85.

But all good things will come to an end, and being into Subarus in the automotive world, that saying is even more apparent.

I took Bluejay for my trip to IL which is about 1,000miles / 1609kilometers from CO and through the entire trip itself. The car was running amazingly, getting close to 20mpg (11.76l/100km) with it only costing $2 - $2.8/gal.

It was when I was nearly about to make it home to the inlaws. Only ten minutes out, before this. I was constantly eyeing the oil pressure gauge but because I was so close... I turned off the backlight and just paid attention to the very hectic streets of IL.

Then the knocking started. I turned the backlight on and oil presssure was now floating at 2 bar, dropping to 1 by the time I made it home.

Maybe I should've stayed vigilant, maybe I could have saved it. But that's a story of another me in another universe. My reality is that I'm now far from home, with only a week to get an engine in and ready to go by the end of it and you bet your ass I'll make it happen.

Lean cut, pressure cut, temperature cut, EGT cut, any custom cut, pick your poison. And all set fault codes displayed like the old SSM Subarus did if you want

At this point you should just download M-tune and see everything it has to offer

Shit doesn't show up before you have selected them as inputs or outputs tho so your menu doesn't get cluttered, so you'll have for example set a DBW motor output to see the e-throttle menu
