Turbo Blanket or burning oil?

05 fxt,
Added a cheapo turbo blanket as stock heatshield rusted
It's been like, 220 miles and it still occasionally dumps smoke! (and it doesn't smell the same anymore)
I've been checking my oil, and it could be consuming, what are the problem spots around the turbo that'd leak like this?
I've heard of the banjo bolt, if that was leaking, would I replace it?

If the banjo bolt leaks you replace the copper washers. But more often than not it's the oil drain hose that hardens over time and starts to leak

From what i understand turbo blackets can cause fires especially if there is leaking oil

But maybe im rembering wrong
