EJ257, VF43 turbo, grimmspeed 3 port EBCS, BOV, protuned to 19psi. All was well until recently.
1st and 2nd gear car pulls like normal, no hiccups or fuel cuts.
If I floor it in 3rd or 4th, car will fuel cut and throws a P0244 code. Turbocharger Wastegate Solenoid A Circuit Range/Performance"
Thought it was due to my wastegate being seized/sticking but I'm able to move the actuator arm freely.
Is there anything im missing?
#04 FXT, VF43 Turbo: overboost in 3rd gear and up

Is your EBCS plumbed the wrong way around and consequently tuned for the incorrect setup? Now that the EBCS is acting up it doesn't default to directing air to the wastegate, but to open air
Havent touched the EBCS in years, been working good for a long time
Yes but how often are you loading up hard in 3rd & 4th
Have you made exhaust changes since the last time it was tuned?
your minimum duty on your EBCS is causing you to overboost and that's likely from an exhaust change. That or there's an issue with the wastegate actuator diaphragm that's causing issues.
you should monitor your boost level, your requested duty, your current duty to confirm some issues. You probably aren't generating enough load in 1st or second to trigger your absolute threshold, but in 3rd you definitely will
if you're at 0% duty and are overboosting, then the wastegate is either not opening or you're exceeding the capability of the internal wastegate
Only changed out my catback, how do I check the duty on my EBCS?
When merging on the freeway or when im on a spirited drive. Probably once or twice a drive before the issue happened
you can see where the fuel cut happens. But after the fuel cut its perfectly fine
