Here is the sadness, (I know in hindsight I could’ve swerved and probably been fine, but I wasn’t paying as much attention as to when the lane opened up as opposed to paying attention to getting merged into, also I tried flooring it to not get hit but I was in 5th at the time iirc, and had no power)

why did you pull the grille out to remove the bumper?

Bc I also had to pull the headlight brackets off

Plus there’s one headlight bolt underneath the bumper

The bumper is in fact bolted down

The grille goes over the two bolts that hold the bumper in place

Also there are body clips that go through the bumper into the fender liners, as well as the clips on the very end of the bumper
