Hii, since there are so many aquarium options, I’d like to hear your recommendations, preferably in Tokyo since me and my partner will have a one day trip to Osaka, so we may not be able to visit everything.
I’m in love with marine life and would love to see huge beautiful aquariums, perhaps a ceiling type? Thanks!

I haven't been but planning to go to an aquarium in a couple of weeks. But done some research and Osaka Aquarium is second most recommended one in Japan after Okinawa one. Tokyo one is apparently not as good.

Got it, that’s why I asked

#

If it’s really that breath-taking and worth it then we can make some time for it

#

#

Also Maggie, you’re always replying and helping out thank you so much I really appreciate it pal :)

I guess flying to Okinawa for the best aquarium in Japan (Churaumi) is out of the question? 😅

So this is Ukiyoe not a painting

#

So the "original" in its classic meaning is not a thing really

#

It's basically a fancy stamp sequence made of wood

#

So yes all that you see is original but it's not like paintings that only one exists

If you're into Hokusai, you might want to consider visiting Obuse (Nagano prefecture) on a future trip.

Travel guide for Obuse, a quiet town in northern Nagano Prefecture, Japan associated with the famouse artist Hokusai.

Ah shame, seems it's not there at the moment as it's on loan travelling somewhere probably

#

But as I say, do some digging on Google, there are around 250 original prints left in the world it's estimated, so there could be some museums that have it currently on display
