Hello,
So, basically, I play Geforce Now with 7-8ms on the EU Southeast server. However, for the past two days, my ping has been consistently at 40-50 in EU Southeast and 34 on EU Central (which EU Southeast is my country's server). Now, if I connect with a VPN (Romania, 700 KM away from my country), my ping decreases to 24. However, this is still unplayable for me as I'm used to 7-8ms. If I connect with a Bulgarian VPN (which is 400 KM away from my country and where the EU Southeast Geforce Now server is located), I get 24ms. I've also tried other nearby country's VPNs, but they give me high ping. Is there any fix for this? Is there anything I can do to my router? I've tried resetting and restarting my router, but my ping remains at 40-50. And yeah, I tried contacting the support, and the only thing they said is "it's because of your internet connection," which I don't actually believe is the source of the issue, as it has always been stable.

dont use vpn for gaming
Please read carefully. What I meant is that I used to get 7-8ms without any VPN or anything, just a normal connection. But now, I'm getting 40ms without VPN or anything. However, if I turn on my VPN, my latency decreases to 24ms.
is ur wifi good?
As always.
run a speedtest first
and send the screenshot fo the results here
But anyway, here it is. I used to get 8 ms with this upload and download speed, and there has been no change since then.
yea its good
ive seen a lot of geforce now forums
on the website
talking about high latency
have u checked it out yet?
Can you send me the link?
syre
sure
Pretty sure Europe servers have been having issues lately and over crowded as well
This sounds like a routing issue
Either on your ISP’s end or Nvidia’s
I’d talk to support about it
Try the live chat first
If that doesn’t work
Create a ticket
Well it rarely happens tho once in 2 weeks or so and it's like this for about 2-3 days until it becomes normal again
It’s an ISP thing then
