Because you connect to a different rig each time you launch a session. You shouldn't be able to automatically sign in anyways.

That's not true tho.
I've been using it for months and I've never had to sign in when I launch any game before
only started happening today.
It may be a minor thing but it's still an annoyance to have to take your phone out to log in.

You can try syncing your Steam account then, the most that does though is sync your library.
