Death Stranding " you don't own thsi game through EGS yet"

Death stranding is free again currently. on gfn it let's me play a bit, but then eventually says I don't own it. I can't get past the intro before It boots me off through gfn saying I don't own the game, even though I do.

Did you use auto login

I had to manually log in. The game lets me get a portion of the way through the intro cutscenes

Don’t think there’s account syncing and auto log in for epic games on gfn

Anyway

It prompted me

To manually log in

After it auto logged in for me

And displayed the same message

Doing so

And then restarting

Fixed it

I was going to use a screenshot but I’m waiting for it to happen again

I want a screen cap of the error itself so I can use that

Ah yeah I manually logged in the first time, but have restarted 3 times now

Perhaps it had something to do with me alt tabbing out?

It gave me an error initially that said “ looks like you aren’t playing” during a cutscene

On the first time

Moving the mouse

Or just random inputs

Fixes that

And won’t mess up the cutscene

Or you can press escape and skip

For sure. I’ll keep trying. Hopefully whatever error causes this is resolved internally
