Why do both generation zero and observer system redux have a 3840x2160 option when installed locally but only go up to 2560x1440 in Geforce Now??
I also dont have an option for HDR in Observer on Geforce Now but i do when installed locally. kinda sucks considering im on the ultimate tier

Can you try another server please. Some servers don't have the 4080 rigs yet.

im in Los Angeles. i only use 4080 rigs

this issue is specific to those games

as you can see, im on a 4080 rig

but the highest resolution i can choose is 2560x1440

You're not on 4k. You're using 1440p on 120FPS in the stream settings.

Change that to 4k 60FPS.

if you mean my Geforce Now Stream Settings, they are already set to 4k.

You got the point there.

If I'm not wrong, you cannot use 4K/120FPS. 4K is limited to 60FPS at this moment.

Yes, I was wrong. You can stream at 4K/120FPS.

But I have no idea on why it was preventing you from using it when playing these games.

But glad that you sorted it out. Keep that in mind for the next game. 😅

I found the full info on this regard, after reading the GFN Faq:

During the RTX 3080 rigs only, it wasn't possible to use 4K/120FPS. It became a possibility after the RTX 4080 upgrade.

Yeah. HDR depends a lot.
Hope the GFN team can make it "easier" in the future.
