I sometimes get this issue with The Crew 2 via Ubisoft Connect on PC and Mobile. The only solution I got is to close the session and start again.

I always get this issue in The Crew 2, and all I do is, because I know where the in-game settings is, I got to settings, and then change the resolution to my desired resolution.
It should work for AC valhalla too. Since it's focused on the left, you will be able to see the settings, just go there and change the resolution to whatever you desire, tho you should change it to 1200x700 first so you can see better
and then change it to your desired setting
But only do this if you do not want to close the session.
If they say restarting your session works, then you can do that do :)
