#

can you try running unity as admin?

unreal creek
#

Oh wait maybe i have another path then the one you suggested? It said file hadn't been touched since 2021. But that's the last time I successfully started Unity so perhaps thats accurate

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Unity\cache\packages\packages.unity.com
and
PROJECTDIR\Library\PackageCache

unreal creek
#

Ah

worthy barn

#

It wasn't that i was suppose to delete the files inside the Packages?

#

Oh!

#

Well I am currently loading in a 2D platformer Microgame.

#

I suppose that's just it

#

Don't get why these Errors showed from the beginning tho, quite annoying.

I'll try to launch from 2D core, following the same steps if needed

worthy barn
#

you can try to add add the cinemachine package back in or you would need to remove the references to it in the PlatformerModel.cs file

unreal creek
#

I see.

#

But. So will this be a process needed to be done for every new project then? Or can you set a standard?

It seems a new project just gave me all the same erros

Nope

unreal creek
#

Of course preferably not that though

worthy barn
#

anysthing special with the project folders location?
special characters or spaces in the path fro example ?

you could try a reimport all

#

that should not take to long with the project just stated
or make a new project and see if the same error accures there too

unreal creek
#

My unity folders are

#

"Unity Dir", "Unity Hub", "Unity Projects"

worthy barn

#

Could i just rename them or would that mess things up even further?

Okay so

#

New project and i get my usual errors every time i launch.. but when i run the program they "disappear"?

#

Is it fixed? Or is it just an illusion

#

oh its bcuz of this.. but what does that mean though? to just clear the errors? wont it come back and bite me later?

obsidian lantern
#

....huh

#

looks like those 'errors' are more so complaints that a file couldn't be found

#

not errors that are preventing compiling or playing

unreal creek
#

hmm okay

#

well until i encounter an issue while programming i guess i'm happy?
