oh thanks.
so you know, you can just create threads yourself
I did, I was just working on something else atm
cool deal. wasn't sure if you knew how, or if you felt unwelcome or something
oh dw, but thanks for the help still
imo this scene looks pretty awful but I cant put what the problem is in my mind. Anyone got any tips? Should I remake the models? Get grass? Stylized leaves and bushes? New materials or textures?
my goal is lowpoly - stylized-ish
you may want to show a screenshot of what you want your scene/assets to look similar too. this question cannot be answered as it is. some people would call what you have fine and be done with it for their game. there are infinite styles. you need to demonstrate what you want, in order to have your question answered.
@tribal haven
alr
also, once you do, occasionally. (very occasionally) bump this thread in the main room so people can find it
wait how exacly?
then paste that into the main room with a message of some sort like, idk "any advice about this' or maybe your original message again. important part was that's how you copy the link to this THread
@tribal haven
alr thanks
the ground is very flat and featureless
The materials of the ground and the materials of the trees/foliage look like they're in completely different styles, with the rocks being a third style.
The lighting is very simple - seemingly just a single directional light maybe with some ambient light
thanks
the shadows are hard, you dont seem to be using post processing at all, and the repeating ground texture is off putting. the bushes on the ground dont look like bushes at all imo
