How is the blender anim fitting together, you're just animating a little movement in the thread and then looping that in some way that it appears smooth?

I would have expected you'd need to animate at least 1 full loop in the threads where the end pose / keyframes are an exact match of the first pose / keyframes, that may still be a potential workaround
