#tell me how to install it

ok
ok start by cancelling all the current queued installations and try just one to see if it works and we can go from there
you are connected to the internet correct?
yeah im gonna be honest. unity hub is just really bad when it comes to installing new editor versions
especially when you dont have good wifi
yes so i am able to chat here
🥲
sorry lol
my wifi is about 2-10mb down/up on average
and yet unity hub still cant handle it
run your UnitySetup64 as administrator and see if that does anything
dont need to run as admin, i think it just asks that anyway
but yeah just double click it and go from there
its really simple to use
also they should probably be installed in program files if not already
tried already
As you have installed unity manually, you can continue with android setup
iirc, what you mostly need is Android SDK and NDK
NDK you can download and unzip it manually
for Android SDK, its better and easier if you use android studio to download it
did you select the right OS?
android studio is huge file
yes
yeah, thats the problem
yes
update: i made a smol mistake
what
download assistant is the correct one
if you've tried absolutely everything we told you, checked the logs and are fine, then you probably should completely restart the installation incase of corrupted files
forgot that those top ones are like 3GB each
i tried from here also
but it takes so much time
18hrs
oh yeah, it will
same time as unity hub i'd imagine
the speed from there is just completely wifi dependant
but unlike unity hub, it wont stop randomly and ask you to continue
meaning you can just leave and come back later
Did you have your editor already setup before trying to install those components?
yes
And you’re sure you have enough space to store the installed files?
Hmm, how are your PC specs?
yeah the time remaining on a download is rarely accurate. its just an estimate, it'll change randomly
Well I believe 8GB RAM is the bare minimum to handle those installations and you are doing quite a lot, which takes up a ton of computational power and if your processors are slow, you might still struggle with them
Queued installations typically store temporary files in your directory and if your editor is still processing those files, you may need to pause the queue or close out the hub itself
yes
i deleted those
now it sayd installed android build support
but lets check it
So you’re downloading one at a time again or that’s the one that completed first?
i downloaded from download assistant
downloaded only android build support
it downloads jdk , sdk also right?
Yes
Forgot to mention, check your task manager during the installations to evaluate your resource usage
100% of what exactly?
cpu
Do you have any other process other than the hub open?
You might have missing files considering you did try deleting stuff
Well you did tell me your specs were bad & are experiencing 100% CPU usage so that tells me your PC probably can’t handle all this
