I don't remember the exact requirements on the job posting, but I just listed what I know and had some experience with and that was enough. I think, I wrote mainly about experience with unity and C#, but also Java and Dart.

I'll warn you right away though, that even if you get hired, there's a big chance you will need to work with other engines and programming languages.

I have no problem learning more programming languages, but I just want a job at first and then develop myself.

Yeah, that's fine. If you show that you can put effort and learn new technology you'll be fine.

How's your japanese?

Are the salaries there good as a single person?

They are decent. I don't have much to compare to, so it's hard to say. I get around 300k yen per month after taxes and everything.

so its like 400k yen before tax thats good. How many years of experience?

When I got hired I had like 1-2 years experience as a freelancer. And I've been working here for 3 years or so.

is that true that the number of working hours there is exaggerated and that Japanese people are leaving work there?

It depends on the company. In my company it's 9am to 6pm. There's sort of a weird system of overwork hours. Like 2 hours of overwork are included in the salary, but I'm not forced to stay. Many japanese, do however. Sometimes when it's busy you might be asked to stay for the overwork hours.

True, because this is normal now for the Japanese to work overtime without paying lol
