They are decent. I don't have much to compare to, so it's hard to say. I get around 300k yen per month after taxes and everything.

When I got hired I had like 1-2 years experience as a freelancer. And I've been working here for 3 years or so.

It depends on the company. In my company it's 9am to 6pm. There's sort of a weird system of overwork hours. Like 2 hours of overwork are included in the salary, but I'm not forced to stay. Many japanese, do however. Sometimes when it's busy you might be asked to stay for the overwork hours.
